AquaBounty Virtual Town Hall, Thursday, August 5 @ 6:00PM EST

Join WEDCO virtually for a town hall event with AquaBounty. In this webinar you'll have the opportunity to learn more about the project. In order for the company to effectively share information about the project in a timely manner, it will be required to submit questions in advance.

The meeting will be recorded and posted online after the event. A FAQ sheet will be shared with participants after the meeting. There will be future opportunities to meet with the company and ask additional questions.

WILLIAMS COUNTY, Ohio - The new farm, located in Pioneer will be AquaBounty’s first large-scale commercial facility, with a planned annual production capacity of 10,000 metric tons – approximately eight times the size of its farm in Albany, Indiana, which has an annual production capacity of 1,200 metric tons. Construction is slated to begin in 2021 and the Company anticipates commercial stocking of salmon to commence in 2023. Once in operation, the farm is expected to bring over 100 new jobs to the region.
