Call for Proposals: BRASS 2020 Fall Online Symposium
The Business Reference in Academic Libraries Committee of BRASS seeks proposals for engaging presentations to be part of an online symposium via Zoom on December 9, 2020. Proposals are due by November 23, 2020 by 5pm EST.

Proposals may be submitted by anyone, but priority consideration will be given to proposals from BRASS members. Proposals should describe a 45-minute session (30 minutes for presentation with 15 minutes for facilitated discussion and/or question-and-answer) that relates to the broad heading of academic librarianship in the COVID-19 era. Suggested topics include:

-Zoom teaching
-Distance/Online learning: Creating effective online instruction
-Improved techniques for research consultations
-COVID contingencies (staffing, collection development, budget constraints, etc.)
-Planning for Spring 2021
-Data literacy and/or data visualization
-Remote outreach/Building liaison relationships and instruction programs with difficult-to-reach departments
-Promoting existing business resources
-OER for business

Is the primary presenter a member of ALA RUSA BRASS? *
Please note that preference will be given to presentations by BRASS members. To join, go to http://www.ala.org/membership/
Presentations will take place on the Zoom platform online. After acceptance, participant will work with the symposium committee to schedule a date and time for the presentation.
