The New Jersey Department of Education encourages school districts to participate in "Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day" activities by giving children credit for school attendance even though they are “working” alongside their parents.

In order for our district to maintain accurate attendance records and account for all students, we are asking for your cooperation. If your son/daughter is participating in "Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day" on Thursday, April 25, 2024, please complete the form below.  While your child will not be marked absent if we are properly informed of their participation in this program, please understand that the schedule at Mountain View will run as normal, and your child should speak to their teachers to determine what work, if any, needs to be made up as a result.  Upon their return to school on Friday, we kindly ask that your child provide a letter from your employer confirming their attendance. 

Please complete this form no later than Monday, April 22, only if your child is participating in “Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day."
