Como parte del Encuentro Derechos Humanos para las personas en movimiento organizado por Hispanics in Philanthropy y con la colaboración de distintas fundaciones se han coordinado unas visitas a comunidades, con el objetivo de acercar a las personas participantes a la realidad de la población migrante en Costa Rica a través del intercambio de experiencias.
Las visitas están diseñadas para fomentar las conversaciones sobre la realidad desde el espacio físico donde están pasando las cosas, poder crear un vínculo entre las personas y las organizaciones en lo local y regional, compartir experiencias, fomentar las narrativas no estigmatizadoras, así como los retos que enfrentan las comunidades transnacionales migrantes.
Las visitas se realizarán el día miércoles 8 de febrero, saliendo del hotel a las 8:30 am y regresando a las 2:30 pm.
Les recomendamos llevar ropa cómoda, bloqueador solar y agua, para mantenerse cómodos/as e hidratados/as. Es importante que consideren los tiempos por si tienen vuelo de regreso ese día.
Por favor elegir la visita en la que participarán, asegurándose que el regreso no afecte con su itinerario de vuelo, para esto considere que la visita 1 se realizará a un lugar más cercano al hotel.

Dear participant,
As part of the Human Rights for People on the Move: The Intersections Summit hosted by Hispanics in Philanthropy in collaboration with different foundations we are coordinating visits to communities, with the aim of bringing the participants closer to the reality of the migrant population in Costa Rica through the exchange of experiences.
The visits are designed to encourage conversations about reality on the ground, creating a link between people and organizations at the local and regional levels, sharing experiences, promoting non-stigmatizing narratives, as well as understanding the challenges faced by transnational migrant communities.
The visits will take place on Wednesday, February 8, leaving the hotel at 8:30 am and returning at 2:30 pm.
We recommend bringing comfortable clothes, sunscreen and water to stay comfortable and hydrated.
Please choose the visit in which you will participate, making sure that the schedule does not affect your flight itinerary. Consider that Visit 1 will take place in a community that is closer to the hotel.
