Rachel is an Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Candidate in Colorado. Rachel has a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Regis University in Colorado Springs/Denver. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky.
Rachel has been working with high-risk populations, such as severe mental illness, dual diagnosis, and individuals experiencing homelessness since 2013. Rachel has clinical experience providing mental health therapy for active duty military, veterans, and military-associated family members, in which she worked with concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief, shame, PTSD, survivor's guilt, military transition, blended families, divorce, substance use disorder, domestic violence, sexuality, and gender identity,
As a systems therapist, Rachel believes that problems within an individual begin with the family of origin. By addressing the systems we are a part of, such as family, work, school, culture, etc., it helps us understand who we are and how we can create new patterns of thinking and behaving.
