Each year, our EC committee organizes a series of seminars to discuss current trends and cutting edge technologies in life science. Many opportunities await—we provide rewarding experiences fostering scientific exchanges in the life science industry and offer exceptional benefits unique and tailored towards you.
As a CABS volunteer, you will gain ready access to a comprehensive, tight-knit network of professionals in the industry, first-hand insight into how professional organizations are operated, and free access to the events you are helping with. Volunteers who demonstrate commitment will be offered opportunities for promotion and be considered to become a member of the CABS Executive Committee. Executive members enjoy additional benefits such as one-year free CABS membership (worth $30) and up to two terms of membership fees for a toastmaster club (worth $90)!
Involvement may vary, and you will be given the flexibility to decide your own level of commitment (whether you'd like to volunteer for a single event, or be an active member of an EC committee).
