RSVP for Campus Election Engagement Project (CEEP) Faculty Dialogue Event

Facilitating Democracy: Fostering Civic Conversations in College Classrooms and Online

Oftentimes, faculty are approached by students with politically charged opinions and questions. These conversations can be extremely awkward and uncomfortable, especially if you are a faculty member who does not want your students to know about your political opinions.

This webinar training will offer guidance and practice on how you can guide conversations about politically charged issues to healthy dialogue in the classroom.

The webinar will be taking place over Zoom and we will be practicing conversations over Zoom so it will be perfect for those teaching synchronously on Zoom in the fall.

Dialogue Leader
Erika Tai holds a Master of Public Policy degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst – where she is currently a PhD student on the higher education track of the Social Justice Education program.
