Follow that Duck - Artist Submission Form
Thank you for your interest in submitting a design for Follow that Duck. Once you've completed the submission form below, you will receive an automatic response prompt with instructions and an email address; artists@followthatduck.co.uk, which you should use to submit your design files to.

Due to file size restrictions, we ask that you limit attachments to no more than two in number, and each file is a maximum of 2MB and sent as either a Jpeg or PDF. Please send files, with your name and title of your design, clearly marked on them.

The deadline for receipt of submissions is 11.59pm on 30th November 2021. We will be shortlisting in December 2021. After this, we will be informing everyone who has submitted a design, whether or not your proposal is to be taken forward to the next stage. The next comprises of our sculpture sponsors viewing a portfolio of all the shortlisted designs, and selecting the artwork that they would like to go onto their sculpture. All designs selected by sponsors, will then be commissioned.

Artist Name - This is the name that will be featured on trail signage, website, app and marketing materials, and is the name you would like your art work to be recognised under. E.g. artist title, studio name or collaborative name *
Artwork Title - The proposed name of your sculpture (Please be aware that we aim to keep as many of the original proposed titles of chosen designs. However, if we deem a name not suitable or best suited for a particular design, we will able to change the title of the artwork). *
Artwork Description - Please describe your proposed artwork submission and your reasons behind choosing this design. *
Your Proposed Materials - Please let us know the materials (for example type of paint) you intend to use when creating your Follow that Duck sculpture. *
Artist Statement - Please submit up to 200 words about you and your artistic practice. This will be used during the art selection process, and later on in marketing collateral, should your design be commissioned. For this purpose, please write your statement in the third person. *
Painting Period Availability -Are you available to work on your sculpture between 14th February and 11th April 2022? Please note, your availability for paining during these times, may be a determining factor in shortlisting your design. *
If 'available for some of the period', please state the dates you are unavailable to paint
Where do you intend to paint your sculpture? - If you select personal studio, you will be responsible for the collection and return of the sculpture or contributing to the delivery costs. Please note that the sculpture is over 3''2 ft wide and 5"6 ft tall, so you will need to ensure that the access into your personal space can accommodate the size of the sculpture. *
