Florida 4-H has received funding through the Dept. of the Air Force (DAF) 4-H Military Partnership Outreach and Support Project to provide day camp scholarships to DAF-connected youth in summer 2022. These scholarships will cover a camper’s full registration costs day camp programs in Bay County 4-H Camp Events. Any DAF dependent youth will be eligible (Active Duty, Air National Guard, and Air Force Reserve). All scholarships are awarded on a first-come-first-serve basis, until all funds are distributed. Scholarship applicants MUST initially register for the event they want to attend BEFORE filling out this scholarship form. This will ensure there are current registration spots are still available. There will be a place within registration where you will mark "I am applying for a scholarship." Initial registration payment will not be required if campers are applying for a scholarship. After registering for camp, please fill out this form immediately. Awardees will be notified of acceptance on a rolling basis, within two weeks of applying. All scholarship awardees will be asked to pay a $20 refundable deposit to secure their scholarship. Once the scholarship recipient arrives at the event, there will be options of how they'd like their $20 deposit returned. If the scholarship recipient does not arrive to camp, the $20 will not be returned.
