Section 1: Illness

All leaders will be trained in proper COVD-19 procedures, including but not limited to: proper cleaning, symptoms, and PPE (personal protective equipment)
Leaders will not attend if they are showing any symptoms or have reason to believe they have come into contact with COVID-19
Covid questionnaire may be asked to the parents regarding their child’s health upon registration
Records will be kept of everyone on site (staff, leaders, parents/guardians, children)
If any child is found to be unwell, they will be isolated from other children and leaders. Their guardian will be contacted. They will be supervised by a leader in PPE until their guardian arrives. All areas where the child was present will be sanitized

Section 2: Cohorting & Social Distancing

Groups will be maintained with no more than 30 people (leaders included)
One parent will sign in and sign out their child/children from the same pick up/drop off location
Cohorts of 30 including leaders and children, will remain socially distanced from other cohorts
Once in their cohorts, children may remove their mask(s) if they choose to

Section 3: Personal Hygiene

All leaders (must wear a face mask except during snack time with the exception of:
(a) once in their cohort (of 30 people), children may remove their mask(s) if they choose to
(b) a person less than 2 years of age or age 2 to 4 years and their caregiver cannot persuade them to wear a mask;
(c) a person for whom the wearing of a mask is not possible because of the person's medical condition; in this case the reason for not wearing a mask must be addressed in advance with Caleb Archibald, Director of Children's Ministry.

Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth
Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue or into your elbow
Personal items or supplies such as phones, pens, notebooks, water bottles, PPE, etc… will not be shared
Refrain from shaking hands and touching others
Frequent hand washing will be encouraged when or where possible. Leaders will be equipped with hand sanitizer for children to use before/after using programming equipment, after sneezing or coughing, or anything of that nature
Hand sanitizer will be provided upon child’s arrival to church
Signage in the washroom will be posted to remind children of proper hand hygiene and proper cough etiquette

Section 4: Cleaning

Frequently touched surfaces - including bathrooms - will be cleaned and sanitized prior to and following Children’s services
In the case of a First Aid emergency, or a child being isolated, leaders will wear the proper PPE when dealing with a child

Section 5: Equipment

After activities are complete, all equipment and used items will be sanitized
Where possible, each child will be given their own assigned equipment (craft supplies, ball, etc..)
Children will be encouraged to only bring what is absolutely necessary from home, and to ensure all belongings are properly and clearly labelled with both first and last name.
Children are discouraged from sharing personal items (chapstick, hats, water bottles, etc…)

Section 6: Food & Drink

All volunteers will be present during snack time, making sure that children are not sharing food with one another
Snack will be provided to children served by the volunteers

Section 7: Communication

Proper guidelines and safety precautions will be communicated through e-mail to the parents, as well as posted in the facility

Section 8: Outbreak Management

Daily attendance records will be kept of all leaders and children
Leaders understand that one case of COVID-19 is considered an outbreak

Nursery

There will be no nursery ministry offered at this time, but the nursery is open for self-serve with a live stream of the worship service playing.
