Terms and Conditions:                                                      Payment Policy: Cash, Cheque or e-transfer in the amount of $200 are due within the first week of rehearsals.  Fees include competition fee. Additional cost may be required for make-up, footwear, and costumes. We will do everything in our efforts to keep these costs at minimum. There will be no refund for withdrawal after first month of participation.   Rehearsals: Given the uncertainty of this pandemic, and our priority to keep our staff and performers healthy we are determined to provide the best instruction and efforts as best as possible. In such events as increased absenteeism due to Covid-19 related circumstances, Island Show Choir will reschedule rehearsals or lengthen the duration of subsequent practices if required.                                           *
Acknowledgement of Risk & Release of Liability: I acknowledge that there are risks associated with the participation of any activities and programs offered or sponsored by Island Show Choir and that by their nature, these activities and programs can be physically demanding and dangerous, possibly exposing the student to risks and hazards including, but not limited to, physical injuries incurred while dancing or as a result of dancing. I voluntarily agree, therefore, to assume all risks and responsibility for any such injury or accident, which might occur to me or my child during any of Island Show Choir's activities and programs. I also exempt, release, and indemnify Island Show Choir, its owners, agents, volunteers, assistants, employees, guest artists, faculty members, and/or students from any and all liability claims, demands, or causes of action whatsoever from any damage, loss, injury, or death to me, my children, or property which may arise out of or in connection with participation in any activities or programs conducted by Island Show Choir. I further hereby voluntarily agree to waive my rights and that of my heirs and assigns to hold Island Show Choir, its owners, agents, volunteers, assistants, employees, guest artists, faculty members, and/or students liable for such damage, loss, injury, or death. If I am signing this waiver for my children, I certify that I am the parent or legal guardian and have the right to waive these rights. *
Publicity Release: I allow Island Show Choir to photographs/videos of myself, or if signing as parent or legal guardian, my son/daughter for promotional material. I understand that these photos/videos may be used for but not limited to newspaper advertising, articles, brochures, pamphlets and Island Show Choir's website and Facebook page. ISC Covid-19 Policy:                                                                   1) ISC performers and staff will only attend rehearsal in person if they are in good health and do not exhibit ANY of the following symptoms:  fever and chills, cough,  sore throat, dizziness, loss of smell or taste, extreme fatigue, or general feeling of being unwell.          2) ISC performers will keep ISC staff informed if they have been, or family has been exposed to Covid-19.                                3) ISC performers and staff will sanitize hands, temperature check, and sign in before rehearsal for contact tracing.                                                                        4) Only ISC performers and staff are permitted in the building during rehearsal period.                                         5) All ISC performers and staff are required to wear a mask at each rehearsal.                                                              6) Additional rehearsals may be required if absenteeism due to Covid-19 related circumstances in order to make up for loss of rehearsal time.                                                 *
