CAMP DEFINITIONS

BLUE DEVIL BOOT CAMP   Grades 7-9 (2022-23 school year)

·         This camp is geared towards Henry Clay’s incoming potential freshman players. We have done this camp the past several years and it has been an excellent jump start for our program and all the new players.
·         8th and even 7th graders may sign-up for this camp: however, spots will be limited and will depend on availability.
·         This camp is also geared to the more experienced player – there will be more team drills and advanced drills so first time or not so experienced players should sign up for the other middle school camps in order to get more help on individual skills.  This camp expects the players to already have the basic skills of serving, passing, setting, and hitting.
·         It is open to players attending other schools.  
MIDDLE SCHOOL CAMPS 1 and 2    Grades 6-8 (2022-23 school year)

·         We will mirror many of the same things done in the regular boot camp
·         It will be an excellent way to get ready for your middle school tryouts
·         First time players may struggle a little in this camp but give it a shot and challenge yourself
·         Introduce/Review/Practice all the basic skills
·         Good mix of working on individual skills and team play/competition
·         5th graders that have playing experience may come to this camp
·         Excellent opportunity to get help and work on those skills that will help you be more successful for your middle school team.
·         Boys are welcome
YOUTH CAMP Grades K-5 (2022-23 school year)

·         Introduction to volleyball skills/Practice volleyball skills already learned
·         Boys welcome too
·         Mixed in will be many other athletic games
·         Main goal is to introduce the sport, but also have lots of fun. We have had a great time with this camp in the past and look forward to a great time this summer.
