The Pleasant View City Council has approved some initial funding for a Veterans Monument project. A project bid is currently under consideration by the City Council, contingent on additional project funding being raised and acquired for project completion. Nonetheless, the City is beginning to gather names for inclusion on a prospective monument based on project approval and securing additionally needed funds.

Upon project approval, a U.S. Military Veteran who is either a current or former resident of Pleasant View is eligible for inclusion.
