GGM Student Teacher Application- Fall 2021
Girls are Great at Math is a free nonprofit math program offering math classes to students of all genders and other demographics in the grades of 2-8. Our goal is to encourage a safe environment for students to improve and take interest in various levels of mathematics, from school taught math to competition math. Our teacher team is comprised of over 50 volunteer student teachers and homework graders, mainly from the school Hunter College High School in New York City.

Please fill out this form if you are interested in being a student teacher for GGM! As a student teacher, your  position requires creating homework, making slideshows and holding classes once a week on Saturday or Sunday at a time of your choice for one and a half hours. Once you fill out this form, you will receive a follow up email from us!

Other roles are also available: substitute teacher, homework creator, or homework grader. Please fill out this form if you are also interested in applying for those roles.

Note that community service hours will be awarded.

The due date for this form is September 13th. Although the sign up is pretty earlier, class choices are not decided until early September. The class time choices you can possibly choose from in September are: Saturday morning class, Saturday afternoon class, Saturday evening class, Sunday morning class, and Sunday afternoon class. Morning classes are at 9:00-10:30, afternoon classes at 2:00-3:30, evening classes are at 7:00-8:30.

Please email aprilren@hunterschools.org if you are interested past September 18, 2021.
