What does it mean to be fluent in math? Typically, fluency is associated with memorization and speed. In this course, participants will learn what it truly means for students to be fluent. Additionally, we will explore how to shift instructional and assessment practices to better support students on their journey to number sense, building connections, and flexible thinking.
