Grade 1 Health Opt-Out
As per the NJDOE, families have the option to opt their child out of health class: N.J.S.A. 18A:35-4.7 Parent’s Statement of Conflict with Conscience    

Below is a list of all health topics for the grade level.  

There is ONE health lesson per week in elementary school.  Approximately four lessons a month. 

Please select ONLY the lessons that you want to opt your child out of.

Students that opt-out of a health lesson will receive a health lesson on nutrition or physical fitness.
