SMPSC Membership Agreements
The following agreements outline the path that workgroup members believe will help us work better together. You are asked to indicate your agreement with each of the following five principles of how we will work together

In order to focus more sharply on community voices, SMPSC asks Elected and Appointed Government Leaders to provide written updates in lieu of attending meetings
Because of the above agreement, our elected and appointed aren't the right people to be in the room for the time being. We will invite and encourage them to share written updates and will share our updates as well.

We will narrow our work to collecting community input and encouraging people to raise their voice with decisionmakers
We cannot work in all lanes at once. Rather than attempt to write policy, fund raise, collect input, lobby, and drive action, we will focus on our lane.

I will commit to contributing four hours of work between each monthly meeting
If I'm here representing an organization, that means I personally will commit to contributing to SMPSC's work during my work hours. If I'm here as an individual community member, that means using my own time to contribute to the work of SMPSC.

I will commit to tracking my progress with other SMPSC members, my organization (if I represent one), and with the community
SMPSC will develop ways for us to all share our work and be accountable to each other and the community
