Families Affected by Autism Performance Info
This holiday season join Utah Metropolitan Ballet for TWO special performances of Nutcracker for families affected by Autism on December 12th AND 13th at 5pm at the Covey Center for the Arts in Provo!

This magical, must-see tradition was re-imagined for a new generation by Artistic Director, Jacqueline Colledge and artists, James C. Christensen and Cassandra Christensen Barney. Nutcracker will capture your imagination and transport you to a magical world filled with colorful characters, breathtaking costumes and majestic scenery. Kick off your holiday season in grand style and create lasting memories with your family!

Utah Metropolitan Ballet’s educational outreach program includes our annual Families Affected by Autism free performance. Because of the unique behaviors associated with autism, families with autistic children often feel they cannot attend enriching live performances such as the ballet. Utah Metropolitan Ballet recognizes this and is honored to offer a free performance to one of our productions for these families.

This performance fills every seat in the house, so we suggest you request your tickets quickly! Families who have attended previous special performances have loved and appreciated the opportunity to attend the ballet in this comfortable atmosphere. We recognize, though, that the unexpected may happen, and you may have to either change or cancel your reservation. As such, we will be in touch the week of the performance to confirm your attendance and provide information regarding the event. Standby tickets will be available for the event on a first come, first serve basis.

For more information about the performance and our season, please visit http://www.umballet.org.

PLEASE NOTE:

Complete this form to request your tickets. Tickets do not need to be requested for babes in arms. All ages are welcome to attend.

All tickets are first come, first serve. Registration does not guarantee you will have tickets. No physical tickets will be distributed, rather families will need to check in at the hospitality table located in the Covey Center lobby before the event starts. Confirmation will be emailed to you the week prior to the event of whether you have a reservation or are on the waitlist.

BOOSTERS: The Covey no longer offers boosters to patrons. It is recommended that you bring a booster for younger children to sit on during the performance.

CONCESSIONS:  There are NO concessions at the Covey. We will be offering an opportunity to donate, but this is not required to attend. For every $10 donation you will receive one bag of cookies and one bottle of water. It's because of our generous sponsors and donors that we are able to continue bringing this opportunity to your marvelous families. Thank you!

COMMUNICATION: We will be reaching out via email with more information and communication regarding the performance. Please list an email address you check regularly to ensure messages are received in a timely manner.

MEDIA RELEASE: By requesting tickets, you acknowledge that images and video from this event may be used for marketing and grant application and reporting purposes.
