2022 Summer Camp Junior Counselor Sign Up

Helpers must be DRA students age 10 and up who are capable of tacking independently, leading horses correctly, preferably able to catch horses in paddocks and turn them out, and be good role models to our younger or more inexperienced students and guests. Junior Counselors must promote an accepting, learning, and safe environment.

This is a great opportunity to spend some time in the barn with friends, but it should be taken seriously.

We will have an end of the summer party for junior camp counselors who work one week or more that will include pizza, outdoor movie, and games on horseback!

Ideally junior counselors can commit to helping for an entire week.

DRA will email parents as riders have been accepted as helpers for each week, but plan on being there the weeks that you sign up for! We usually do not have TOO MUCH help.

My Own Horse Camp:
Monday-Thursday 9-12 and Friday 12-2 minimum (helpers are welcome to stay until 2:00 when campers leave)

Monday-Friday 10-2
