About the Event:
This neighborhood-wide house tour and arts festival will show off the warmth of the Old North community, the richness and character of the architecture, the beauty of the community gardens and green spaces, public art, and the dynamic revitalization in progress. This year the big day is scheduled for Saturday, September 16, 2023 from 10:00AM- 5:00PM and will include homes, gardens, murals, and a new arts installation at the Griot Museum on historic St. Louis Ave. In addition, an Arts Festival will be held in Crown Square with local artists, vendors, food trucks, and live entertainment.
We anticipate between 300-400 attendees, potentially higher.
Artist Vendor Guidelines and Liability:- The Arts Festival will host vendors featuring fine arts, handmade craft items, and local food.
- Participation fee is $25.00; checks payable to Old North St. Louis Restoration Group or online invoice once approved for participation.
- Artist retains 100% of sales profits!
- ALL artist booths will be placed along N. 14th Street between St. Louis Ave and Warren with overflow space on Montgomery if needed.
- Each artist/vendor will have approximately 12ft x 12ft of space for set-up. Spaces will be assigned to you.
- Tables, chairs and tents will NOT be provided. Artist/vendors are expected to bring everything they may need
- Event runs from 10am - 5pm. There will be no tearing down before scheduled closing time, at which time volunteers will be available to assist you.
- Approved artists/vendors will be provided with marketing images and messages and are encouraged to promote the event to their followers and beyond.
Old North St. Louis Restoration Group (ONSLRG) is not liable for personal injury, loss, damage, theft, breakage, or destruction of merchandise exhibited at your booth. Vendors are responsible for all required permits to operate a business within the city of St. Louis.
Please complete applications by August 31st. Space is limited!
Participation fees will be collected upon your selection. All proceeds benefit the nonprofit community development organization, Old North St. Louis Restoration Group.
