Workshop Description
Regeneration extends its impact to every individual, our communities, and the essence of nature. Are you eager to explore the depths of this regenerative movement? Perhaps you're interested in mastering a technique to cultivate resilient and abundant ecosystems within a space as modest as 4m²?
This journey involves regenerating the land, cultivating sustenance, and seeking a profound connection with nature.
Join us on a full day journey to explore the principles behind the Biggest Mini Forest project, and explore the beauty of Quinta Bohemia gardens, ending with the possibility of a dinner for making friends and sharing experiences.
Come with enthusiasm and an open heart and leave with the knowledge and inspiration to create your own Mini Food Forest, becoming a part of this network of tiny oases that connect inspiring people to each other and to nature.
Your own initial implementation, of can become your laboratory, your nursery and your teacher. Then this module can be replicated once, twice, or more times, alongside the initial implementation, contributing to the creation of an increasingly resilient, more productive system with a more significant impact.
Luís Afonso and Ana Laura Cruz, the founders of the Biggest Mini Forest Project, will personally guide you through the intricacies of the model employed to establish dense, biodiverse, and rapidly growing Mini Food Forests. This hands-on experience aims to equip you with practical knowledge on how to 'Start Mini and Go Big', using their method that can work on a very small area, but also on a larger scale.
Beyond the practicalities, they will go into the inspiration behind the model and outline the steps to join this expanding network, inviting you to become a Mini Forester with them and contribute to the movement.
