GIS Communications Department Personal Data Usage Consent Form

Grace International School (GIS) Communications Department is committed to serving the school community through managing and overseeing various forms of communication. This includes but may not be limited to sending emails and newsletters, taking, using, and storing digital media, producing marketing and fundraising materials, managing the school website, and maintaining an active presence on social media. To achieve this purpose, we may use and disclose your personal data under the Thailand Personal Data Protection Act of 2020. In order to comply with data protection laws and the expectations of the school community, we need your consent to share information with the third party service providers who supply the cloud based resources which underpin our online platform.

1. I acknowledge that Grace International School will collect, use, disclose, transfer, and/or retain my information (including but not limited to personal data such as name, contact information, photos, etc.) in compliance with Thailand Personal Data Protection Act of 2020 and for the purposes stated in our Privacy Policy which can be found on the Grace International School website at www.gisthailand.org/privacy-policy

2. I acknowledge that Grace International School takes photographs and videos of students. GIS retains and uses these forms of digital media for internal purposes (digital photo archive, RenWeb student database etc.). GIS will use digital media of my child for external purposes such as to promote the school on our website, social media and promotional materials unless permission has been denied on the Grace International School Media Permission Form. By not filling out the aforementioned form, I am giving GIS permission to use digital media of my child for external purposes. Likewise, if I am GIS staff, I give permission for GIS to use my personal data for the above purposes unless otherwise stated. In addition, consent can be withdrawn at any time and the images replaced at the next annual review of the website.

3. By signing this consent form I allow a third party contractor to take personal photos and provide those photos to the GIS Communication Department to use for internal purposes on communications systems such as RenWeb and to produce staff badges and student identification cards. Staff and students pictures taken from this third-party contractor will be used for internal purposes only and these photos will NOT be used on social media platforms.
