We are looking for participants to participate in a research study on Singapore English conducted by Dr. Adam J. Chong, Senior Lecturer in Linguistics at Queen Mary University of London.
 
The study will take place entirely over the internet, so you will be able to participate from your own homes.
 
At the moment, we are looking for adults between the ages of 21 and 40, who were born in Singapore and have not spent more than a year overseas. In order to participate, you will need to have access to a computer (with an internet connection), and a smartphone.
 
The study involves two tasks involving listening and speaking, and a background questionnaire. For the speaking task, your speech will be audio-recorded. All data collected will be completely anonymous. Your name will not be associated with the data.  In total, the study takes about 60 minutes. As a thank you for taking the time to participate, you will be recompensed 15 SGD.
