The second edition of the Jean Monnet Module "IDENTITY AND EUROPEAN VALUES IN THE EXTERNAL BORDERS. FROM THE BALTIC TO THE MEDITERRANEAN" for the year 2024 focuses on the most current aspects of EUROPEAN VALUES, MIGRATIONS AND CONFLICTS. A comparative analysis of migration and the projection of European values in the Central Mediterranean and the Eastern route will be addressed; as well as the challenges to European values and international law posed by the current situation of crisis in Gaza and Ukraine. This 1st Workshop will address how the European values are promoted at the external borders in situations of migratory crises and armed conflicts.
