The future of Art of Birding challenges?

After five years of challenges, thousands of participants from all around the world, profiles in national media, and even a group exhibition, the Art of Birding challenge as we know and love it is coming to an end. Or is it a new beginning? One of the biggest strengths is the amazing community we've created, and I'd like us to stay connected.

How would that look?  That's up to us! Help me take us forward...

The private group is where we post the challenges and where we can discuss things amongst ourselves. People have to provide an email address to join. There are currently 226 members.

Excio is an indepedent photography community that has supported and collaborated with AoB for the past three years by giving us a forum for our blog and featuring our photos for free. They have given further opportunities to participants who pay to join Excio.

Any further thoughts or suggestions?
The support I've received from all of you, but especially the AoB group moderators has been amazing. Without them, we would not have had challenges in the past couple of years. I would love to continue, but there is a huge amount of behind-the-scenes work that goes into doing a weekly challenge and I'm also finding it hard to keep it fresh after five years. With some new ideas and more help, the sky is the limit! Where to from here? I'd love to hear your thoughts and ideas.

Would you like to play a bigger role in AoB such as a group moderator, group expert, setting challenges, organizing a meet-up or other event, etc?
Covid stopped many of my plans to arrange meet-ups, hold exhibitions, etc. If you're interested in being more involved, pop your name/email in the next section. In this section, let me know what you're thinking of. No obligation - just a chat about possibilities.
