Blacksburg Chinese School Heritage Language Program Registration – Spring 2023
All the programs will start on January 8, 2023, unless otherwise notified.
Heritage Language Class Tuition Rate: $225 for the first child. Each additional child will get a 10% discount of the tuition.
BCS Membership Fee: $30/child; $40/family (per academic year; those who paid this fee in fall 2022 do not need to pay again).
Textbook Cost: $60 MaLiPing Chinese textbook (those who paid this fee in fall 2022 do not need to pay again).
I-Chinese-Reader Fee $35 per student (Original price: $80) for the whole year from Oct 2022 to Oct 2023
School Supply Fee: $10 per semester.
Shipping Fee (only apply to those who need the materials to be mailed): $10.
For all the math (AMC) classes, paid tuition can be fully refunded upon request if the registration is canceled before the 2nd class; half tuition can be refunded upon request if the registration is canceled before the 5th class; there will be no refund on either tuition or fees after the 5th class.
BCS will register the students enrolled in the AMC 8 class for the AMC 8 Competition in January 2023 for free.
BCS will register the students enrolled in the AMC 10 class for one of the AMC 10 Competitions (either AMC 10A or AMC 10B) occurring in November 2023 for free.
Except in the above two scenarios, a $25 administration fee will be charged for each AMC competition registration (including students who are not enrolled in the AMC 8/10 classes offered by BCS, students who are enrolled in the AMC 8 class but want to register for the AMC 10 competitions, and students who are enrolled in the AMC 10 class but want to register for the AMC 8 competition and/or more than one AMC 10 competitions).
