IYDC Apprentice/Pre-Apprentice Application
Thank you for your interest in our apprenticeship program. We welcome Detroit Iyengar Yoga practitioners who have the capacity to attend in-person sessions. This program is not designed for out-of-town participants.

Please note that we are prioritizing BIPOC in Detroit, Highland Park, and Hamtramck, for the paid positions, but that everyone who is local is welcome to apply for the unpaid positions.

If you are applying with less than 1 year of recent and continuous Iyengar Yoga study completed, you will be considered for our PRE-APPRENTICE PROGRAM. BIPOC Pre-Apprentices are eligible for a full scholarship for classes and workshops. After 6 months - 1 year of continuous study has been completed, BIPOC Pre-Apprentices can be considered for paid apprentice positions.
