Northern Nights, Starry Skies Documentary - Special Online Screening
Sunday April 16th 7pm on Zoom. Q&A panel follows the screening at 8pm.

Join us as we kick off International Dark Sky Week with an invitational screening of the new documentary produced by PBS North and The Center for Global Environmental Education at Hamline University.

The film celebrates our night sky with beautiful photography by Travis Novitsky, Ojibwe Night Sky lore with artist and author Carl Gawboy and the story of the designation of the largest Dark Sky Reserve in the World consisting of Voyageurs National Park, Boundary Waters Canoe Area, and Quetico Provincial Park. The film also examines the threat of light pollution and offers examples of citizen action to minimize light pollution as well as actions each of us can take to preserve the night.
