This Slack is a space to exchange ideas and resources, support each other, and discuss everything related to German academia and getting tenured in Germany (and living in Germany, of course). Because, let's be honest - German academia has its quirks. Therefore, this Slack is open to all new PIs (i.e., junior research group leaders, junior/ assistant professors, and newly tenured professors) at German research institutions.
For everyone who is a New PI outside Germany, there is the New PI Slack (https://twitter.com/newpi_slack). For postdocs who are not yet a PI, there is the Future PI Slack (https://twitter.com/futurepi_slack).
