This form is general registration for VBS volunteers. Additional required Diocesan forms will be sent separately via email. If you are over 18 and would like to volunteer you will need to complete a background check (form available via Katie or the St. Damien Parish office) and a VIRTUS training class (online) per Diocesan Safe Environment Policies.

July 11th is a Mini Retreat to be held on Sunday. This is required for all volunteers and will include Mass, lunch, weekly assignments, setup, and team building activities. Details will follow as date gets closer.

Camp will run M-F 9am-12pm at the Parish Center (1337 Asbury). Volunteers will need to arrive by 8:30 am and will stay to help clean up as a group each day until 12:30 pm.

I give permission for the staff of St. Damien Vacation Bible School to take photos of my child, and I am fully aware that these photos may be used in future promotional materials for vacation bible school, within the church bulletin, or posted on the St. Damien Parish private social media accounts (Facebook/Instagram/Twitter). Note: Names are not used or “tagged” in compliance with Diocesan policy.

I prefer that my child’s photo not be taken by the staff of St. Damien Vacation Bible School with the exception of the group picture.

Volunteers are required to attend a Mini-Retreat day of preparation, Sunday July 11th. It will begin with Mass at St. Augustine at 11 am and go until 3pm. Will you be able to attend? *
