Members of the Student Advisory Board take leadership positions to manage ADDA Agency/Community of Practice and Academy in various capacities, including project management, marketing, and much more.

Listed below are our teams. Please select which ones you would be interested in.  
Academy Team: Works with CSC/Athena Center to improve the curriculum and ensure ADDA classes are teaching relevant and worthwhile topics.
Responsibilities:
-Standardizes curriculum of ADDA classes
-Supports students while they are in our courses
-Selects software and creates learning goals
-Sets the standards for web development in the final project.

Admissions Team: manages the recruitment process for all ADDA academy students, agency members, and student advisory board.
Responsibilities:
-Creates application forms and rubrics
-Manages ADDA website and social media related to recruitment/ admissions
-Evaluates ADDA academy students' final websites
-Plans the semesterly ADDA Academy Graduation
-Keeps track of agency and SAB membership.

Agency Team: connects nonprofits/local orgs/businesses with community of practice members to build and/or maintain their website. Facilitate conversations around tech, organizes activities.
Responsibilities:
-Maintains correspondence with prospective project opportunities for students
-Fields student questions about the agency
-Runs workshops for agency members.

Marketing Team: promotes ADDA web development classes and markets for the agency to prospective clients and students.
Responsibilities:
-Maintains the website
-Maintains social media Instagram/FB and flyering
-Manages agency/community of practice recruitment
-Fields press inquiries
-Creates marketing materials to submit to nonprofits/local orgs/local businesses/individuals

Technical Team:  
Responsibilities:
-Help Agency with React Community
-Help Agency with HTML/CSS Team
-Assisting in ADDA coding courses as TA's
