The 2019 Golden Basket is a State College area local cooking competition, using ingredients sourced from our local farmers markets. Qualifying rounds will be held at four local farmers markets, where chefs will be presenting plated samples of their prepared dishes, and market shoppers voting for one winner per market. Winning chefs will advance to the Golden Basket Finals, a part of a ticketed event held Saturday, August 3, from 4-9pm downtown State College.
