NE E-Commerce Cluster and Support

The NE E-Commerce Cluster Programme will support businesses located within the NE Region (Monaghan, Cavan, Louth and Meath) to develop their existing E-Commerce business through a package of specialist E-Commerce support. Each business selected to participate will receive a website audit and E-Commerce improvement plan, 6 hours of specialist one to one mentoring, access to an online learning network and attendance at a series of masterclasses.

Guidance Notes

The following 3 sections provide guidance notes that must be read and understood before submitting an application to the Ecommerce Cluster Support Programme. The 3 sections are:
1. Business Eligibility
2. Assessment of Applications
3. Business Participation

Business Eligibility

To be eligible businesses must be able to verify the following:
• Be based within the North East Region (Cavan, Monaghan, Meath and Louth)
• Have an E-Commerce website with evidence of at least 6 months sales
• Have an analytics package installed or have access to an analytics package on your website i.e. Google Analytics
• Have the potential to create at least 1 additional job as a result of the programme support
• Have the potential to increase turnover by at least 10% as a result of the programme
• Have the potential to increase export sales by at least 10% as a result of the programme

Assessment of Applications

Applicants should note this is a competitive application process and demand is expected to be high. Please ensure you provide complete and comprehensive answers to all the questions, as marks are awarded for each section. Applicants may be required to provide more information as part of a short follow on interview. Applications will be assessed on the following 2 areas:

- Suitability Criteria

Business Participation

Prior to receiving any support, any business selected to participate will be required to sign and return a ‘Letter of Offer’ to confirm that by accepting a place on the NE E-Commerce Cluster Programme they agree to the following:
• Having their first meeting within 1 month from the date stated on their ‘Letter of Offer’ (If not the offer will be withdrawn and the place reallocated)
• Providing all relevant data (including financial) to the delivery team to facilitate programme monitoring. (Data provided will be considered strictly confidential)

The cost of participating on the cluster and receiving the support is €150.00
