VENUExVENUE is a multi-day, multi-venue Live Music Festival featuring top emerging LONDON Ontario artists. 50+ Ontario artists will perform at 5 venues across London over 3 days.
STEPS TO APPLY
STEP 1: log in to your google account
STEP 2: fill out the application form below (double check your info, and submit)
STEP 3: make an account on the DIT music community https://members.ditcommunity.com/
STEP 4: fill in your DIT account with all of your info (think of it as your EPK where we will also be checking your application.)
WHO SHOULD APPLY:
Artists (solo or musical group) of all genres and backgrounds in ONTARIO
selected artists will be compensated (ages 16+)
TERMS & CONDITIONS
- Application Deadline: FRI APR 26, 2024
- Application Fee: FREE until Thursday, January 18, 2024. ($20 after) apply early and save!
- Application Closure: Please note that applications will close on Friday, April 26, 2024. Don't miss this deadline to be part of a musical extravaganza that will leave a lasting impression.
- All Ages Shows: please note that a limited number of shows will be all-ages other will be 19+
- Industry Exposure: We bring in venue and festival bookers from Ontario and beyond to watch artists for possible bookings at their events. Your talent could lead to exciting opportunities!
- Compensation: Selected artists will receive a nominal performance fee. Travel costs are not covered.
- Performance Access: Selected artists will get a minimum of one performance slot, and each member will receive full access wristbands, allowing entry to all showcases and our music industry conference.
PERFORMING ARTISTS RECEIVE:
- Performance: 1 performance at VENUExVENUE
- Wristbands: each band member receives VENUExVENUE wristband
allows entry to all performances limited to venue capacity - Artist Pass: each band member receives an artist pass
allows entry to indie101 conference (online + in-person) - Ticket to INDIE WEEK ONLINE: tickets for each band member to INDIE WEEK music conference 2024 (online)
- Mixer: Invite to VENUExVENUE mixer (date venue tbd)
ALL APPLICANTS (INCLUDING NON-SELECTED ARTISTS) WILL RECEIVE:
- FREE DIT Community Membership: All applicants will receive a FREE membership to the DIT (Do It Together) community, a hub for music industry professionals, artists, and enthusiasts.
- Discounted Wristbands and Passes: As an applicant, you'll have access to exclusive discounts on festival wristbands and conference passes.
- Music Industry Conference: Participate in and attend our music industry conference, which includes demo listening sessions, mentoring opportunities, industry mixers, industry panels, and more. Elevate your music career with valuable industry insights and connections.
