NJDBC COVID-19 PLAN and Point of Contact *
This describes a plan of action for club memberships actions and understanding to allow for safer participation. This reflects our application of the CDC and NJ phase 2 guidelines.  Our plan expects revisions to adapt to our evolving environment. THE NJDBC POC = Ellen Law: 201-738-0918, ellen@njdragonboat.org.

This Designated COVID-19 POC serves as an administrator responsible for responding to COVID-19 concerns. All NJDBC practice participants should know who this is and how to contact them.

INDIVIDUAL REPORTING *
If someone self-reports – their privacy WILL BE PROTECTED and identity NOT shared with ANYONE (unless required by law).• In accordance with health information sharing regulations for COVID-19 and to support contact tracing, the NJDBC COVID-19 POC will use email or text/phone to contact everyone who attended their practice (if 2 boats, then BOTH crews of BOTH boats) that they might have been exposed. ALL will be STRONGLY encouraged to self-report to our COVID-19 point of contact if following a practice, they: 1. Display ANY symptoms of COVID-19 or 2. Receive a positive test for COVID-19 or 3.Exposed to someone with COVID-19 within last 14 days or 4.Had contact with anyone from Alabama, Arkansas, California, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Utah and Washington within last 14 days. •Will recommend they self-quarantine for 14 days •Everyone from this practice must wait 14 days before returning to practice.

CLUB COMMUNICATIONS *
All attendees at all NJDBC practices will be told NOT to participate if they have symptoms of COVID-19, received a positive test for COVID-19, or if within the last 14 days were recently exposed (within 14 days) to COVID-19. In accordance with health information sharing regulations for COVID-19 and to promote contact tracing, the NJDBC COVID-19 POC will use email or text/phone to contact everyone who attended this practice (if 2 boats, then BOTH crews of BOTH boats) that they might have been exposed.  •Will recommend they self-quarantine for 14 days • Everyone from this practice must wait 14 days before returning to practice

BEGINNING A PRACTICE *
A new sign-in sheet will be created for the day // Add names of all individuals who attended with their temperatures // Everyone’s temperature will be taken by a designated laser operator. // Everyone will be asked these questions: in past 2-14 days, have you // Been exposed to someone positive for COVID-19 // Had any of these symptoms: // Fever of Chills // Cough // Shortness of breath // Fatigue // Muscle of body aches // Headache // New loss of taste of smell // Sore throat // Congestion or runny nose // Nausea or vomiting // Had contact with anyone from Alabama, Arkansas, California, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington within last 14 days.

PFD, Facemask, Faceshield policies *
I will either bring my own PFD, or borrow a NJDBC Loaner PFD for the season, or help clean the NJDBC PFD I use for practice. AND I will wear a PFD with a facemask/faceshield on the dragon boat at all times AND I will wear a facemask or faceshield on land AND I will try to maintain social distancing
