Delegate Expectations

This individual represents the fraternity or sorority chapter they were initiated into at CMU. Additionally, their fraternity or sorority chapter is recognized as a current or former member of one of the four ‘Greek’ councils.

Representation: Every current or former Chapter may have two (2) voting members on the Greek Delegates Council. Those individuals will be added in one of two ways:

Active Alumni Association: If an active Alumni Association exists, it will have the authority to elect or appoint, as it deems appropriate, two (2) alumni association representatives to serve on the Greek Delegates Council.

Inactive Alumni Association: If an active alumni association does not exist, then the Fraternity & Sorority Alumni Chapter Executive Committee can appoint an individual to serve as their Chapter’s representative.

Term: Members will be elected or appointed to a one (1) year term on the Greek Delegates Council. They may serve an unlimited number of terms.
