We need a Level 1 support engineer who prides themselves in their work and who shares our dedication to our clients and their needs. Need to have a technical background and a can-do attitude. We will provide training to be a world class Support Engineer for our company in South Africa. Must be willing and able to learn quickly.
Work will be remote (from home) for this year. Must have quiet, dedicated work space with reliable internet.

Permanent employment (after 3 month probation contract).
Responsibilities:
Resolving incoming support tickets
Resolving incoming support calls
Assist clients via live chat and remote assistance (AnyDesk)
Handling the escalation of tickets
Opening and monitoring tickets with our third-party providers
Investigating issues on both Windows and Linux servers
Investigating issues related to web hosting and cPanel
Installation and troubleshooting of SSL certificates
Installing and troubleshooting our backup product on customers servers
Installing server software (cPanel, Plesk, Softaculous, etc)
Documentation of processes
