Hi! My name is Carlos but everybody calls me Los. I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina but lived most of my life in New York City. I hold two bachelor’s degrees in Journalism & Visual Communication and in Graphic Design from the State University of New York.
Since moving to Warszawa eight years ago, I’ve been conducting private and corporate English and Spanish lessons for adults. I’ve been educating children in English and Spanish for the past five years.
I love to focus my lessons on blending a mix of standard grammar and syntax, with lots of training in developing natural fluency with concentrations on intonation, word stress, and pronunciation as well vocabulary building.
Using an array of teaching materials designed to unblock students’ conversation skills and to get them to open up and talk comfortably and confidently, my enthusiasm and encouragement are welcome by my diverse students, from beginners to advanced.
In addition, I work as an artistic creative director, creating graphic, print and web designs and I also produce, direct, shoot, and edit videos for a variety of clients. I work extensively as a translator, copywriter, copy editor and voiceover speaking coach.
I’m currently studying child psychology and nutrition.
