Freelance Writer: Crash Course Biology
As science evolves, learnings of the past grow and change. Information from 10 years ago can be explored with new perspectives and understanding. We are rebooting our biology series and need a skilled writer to help us do it.

Crash Course, owned by Complexly, is an award-winning YouTube channel that invites students, teachers, and lifelong learners to tackle subjects they might have had trouble with or are curious to learn more about. We're collaborating with Howard Hughes Medical Institute BioInteractive on updating our biology series.

As a freelance writer, you will be responsible for researching and writing scripts on pre-selected biology topics, working closely with other team members and subject-matter experts to develop comprehensive and consistent scripts. You'll receive feedback from our script editor and from HHMI BioInteractive to refine your work until it's ready for production. Being able to collaborate with others effectively and respectfully is essential. Biology topics are a fundamental building block of many scientific fields; it's important to build thoughtful and empathetic narratives around the subject.
