Hello! My name is Nandi and I'm the owner of BLISS JOY BULL, a women's clothing & accessories company based in Chicago. I help you find more color & joy in your life with low impact ideas for your home and body.

I think one of the best ways to help the environment, in terms of clothing consumption, is mending your clothes so that they last longer. A lot of people tell me they'd like to learn how to sew but don't know where to begin. I'd like to help you get you started!

This month and beyond I'll be hosting virtual sewing and mending workshops. The focus of these workshop would be learning to mend clothing and building your sewing skills.

You don't need a sewing machine to learn how to sew. A few simple tools can get you started in mending your clothing. I would like each workshop to have a main focus on a skill with time to work on that project during the class to ask questions. If there's time I would be available to answer questions about other sewing projects and hurdles you'd like help on.

I'd like these events to be casual. A place and time to come together, to sew, and create community around sewing. Join me!
