Driver's Education Class - Summer 2021
This is a first come, first served class as space is limited.  Upperclassmen will have the first opportunity to sign up and then incoming Freshmen will have be able to sign up. There will be another form where you fill out the date and time you would like your student to participate in Driver's Education during the Summer but this form will need to be filled out first.
You can secure your spot once you have paid the $275 fee.  The fee will need to be paid through the My School Bucks contactless software application. You will be sent information on how to pay.
The class offered at Hayden is at a significant reduction from other local driving schools which charge up to $400.
We do prefer that each student have their learning permit but it is not required.

I understand the class will meet on Tuesday, June 1 (the day after Memorial Day). Students will take the Kansas Driver's Handbook test and receive all the information for the online course. Students will meet again on Friday, June 4 to take the final exam. You will sign up for the time on another form. *

I understand that due to COVID-19 and Archdiocese policy, there will need to be someone from the students household in the vehicle during driving instruction. If a family member is not available, the driving session will need to be recorded. Please select the option you prefer. Due to COVID-19, we are only allowed to have one student in the car from one household. Having a family member in the car from the same household is considered acceptable. *
I understand the total cost to participate in the Hayden Driver's Education Program is $275 plus the State Subsidy Reimbursement. Hayden instructors are certified teachers and our program qualifies for State Reimbursement. Since we are a private school, the reimbursement checks are made out to the family and MUST be signed over to Hayden Catholic High School to cover the full cost of the program. More information will be sent to families that sign up for the class.   *
