SYGC Camp Counsellor Application
Smithers Youth Guitar Camp is a 5 day, overnight program that takes place at Camp Caledonia on Unceded Wet'suwet'en Territory.

Each day, instructors work with their small groups of students to teach them guitar skills, music theory, and song writing. Campers also enjoy activities on the lake, art workshops, campfire jams, and organized games.

SYGC requires at least 4 camp counsellors, preferably aged 19 - 25 years old.
Experience playing musical instruments is not a requirement, though it is an asset!

Camp takes place from August 6th to 10th, 2024. A fraction of counsellors are required to stay overnight at camp, and food and lodging are provided. 

Responsibilities can include: sleeping in campers' cabins, participating in camp activities, helping with camp maintenance, preparing camp workshops, attending all meals and camp wide meetings, upholding camp agreements for respect and wellness.
