Message from the Speaker 💌

Art courses and crafts workshops have become popular recently attracting participation from all walks of life. Art is an expression of personal pursuits and interests.  As for craftsmanship, I believe the reason for its popularity is the so-called "temperature" inherited through handcrafts, a kind of warmth that comforts us.  The painstaking effort and dedication in crafting are the maker's sum of wisdom.  This artisan spirit naturally encourages us to experience and explore the essence of craft.

As a wood-work enthusiast and an art lecturer, I hope to promote the development of both the inheritance of craftsmanship and sustainable art.  This talk will introduce the sustainable art project that I take part at Sha Lek Corner.  This project includes sharing the craft of carpentry and sculpture creation.  I look forward to sharing my experience with the public and the community and to gather like-minded friends.
