Register for Disability Support Services (DSS) Information Session

Have you got questions on some of the accommodations listed in Letters to Professors? Have you ever been asked to modify the class presentation or materials for student access? What are the assistive technologies provided by DSS for student use in the class?

We will try to answer those questions in this information session co-hosted by the Instructional Core and Disability Support Services. The following topics will be covered:

  • principles of creating accessible class materials
  • accessible online teaching and learning
  • classroom accommodations using assistive technologies

The session will take place on Wednesday, November 30th from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. It will be a hybrid event with an in-person option at Gelman Library in the National Churchill Leadership Center (NCLC), Room 101, and an online option via Zoom.

GW has an institutional commitment to ensuring that all of our programs and events are accessible for all individuals. If you require any accommodations to participate in this event, please contact libraryevents@gwu.edu at least 2 days prior to the event.
