Welcome to the online registration for the 28th Annual Judge John R. Brown Admiralty Moot Court Competition!
The Judge John R. Brown Admiralty Moot Court Competition is an interscholastic appellate moot court competition sponsored each year by The University of Texas School of Law, and co-sponsored in 2021 by Tulane University School of Law , in memory of Judge John R. Brown. Judge Brown served from 1955 to 1993 on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, where he was one of the nation’s most prominent admiralty judges.
The 28th annual competition will be March 24 - 27, 2021 via Zoom.
Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis, and will conclude on December 11, 2020, subject to availability of competition space. The registration fee is $200 for each team. Each school may enter no more than two teams consisting of either two or three competitors apiece. Registration is not secured until the registration fee is received. Registering online will reserve a team's spot in the competition, but if the registration fee is not received by by the December 11, 2020 deadline, that reserved spot will become available.

The brief problem will be distributed on December 8, 2020 to teams already registered, and will be distributed to subsequently registered teams within two business days of receipt of each team's registration fee.
