An OCTELA Outstanding  Language Arts Educator demonstrated excellence inside and outside the classroom through leadership in and advocacy for language arts and focused efforts to improve student learning.

All nominees MUST be members of OCTELA and each nominator MUST either be a member of OCTELA or a building principal. Nominations are due no later than May 18, 2021. Nominee portfolios will be due by September 1, 2021. Awards will be presented at the 2022 conference.
