Art for Autism is a public event that offers free booth space to artists with autism of all ages and abilities so they can display and sell their work.
Volunteers are needed from 7:00am to 6:30pm and groups are welcome. Children 12 and older may volunteer with an adult. To get more information or sign up for a time slot, please complete the form below.
VOLUNTEER SCHEDULEEvent and Exhibitor Set-up – 7:00am - 10:30am – 20 volunteers
Volunteers will set up and move tents, tables, and chairs for the artist booths, registration table, and check-out booth; place sponsor and information signage on tents and tables; and help artists unload inventory from vehicles and set up their booths.
Artist Booth Assistants – 10:30am – 2:30pm – 15 volunteers; 2:30pm – 6:30pm – 15 volunteers
Volunteers will be assigned to 1-2 artist booths to provide assistance with sales and breaks as needed during their shift. 2nd shift assists with breakdown of event at 5:00pm.
Event Assistants – 10:30am – 2:00pm – 15 volunteers ; 1:30pm – 5:00pm – 15 volunteers
Volunteers will assist with activities at the volunteer station, resource table, art activity area, sensory area, or payment processing station.
Event Break Down – 5:00pm – 6:30pm - 20 volunteers
Volunteers will help artists transport left-over inventory to vehicles, take down tents, stack tables and chairs at a central location, and load event supplies into vehicles.
