VegLife Des Moines is excited to announce the return of our successful Vegan Summer Market series! The Vegan Summer Market is a great opportunity to showcase your vegan items. We anticipate the attendance at each market to be around 350-500 people.

LOCATION: Cowles Commons 221 Walnut St, Des Moines, IA 50309

DATES: Sundays May 22, June 26, July 17, August 14, September 18

SET UP TIME: 9:30am - 11:30am

EVENT TIME: 12:00pm - 3:00pm

TEAR DOWN TIME: 3:00 - 4:00pm

COST TO VEND: $50 per event date, attend all events and pay $250
Please let us know if the cost to vend is a hardship, especially if you are a farmer/grower or non-profit organization. We will do our best to work with you. Email Amy at Amy@VegLifeDesMoines.org 

For our event, vegan is defined as being free of any animal ingredients or processes that harm or exploit animals. Animal ingredients include meat, poultry, fish, eggs, dairy, honey, wool, leather, fur, silk, shells, feathers, or any other product derived from animal, therefore, none of these products will be permitted at this event. In addition, no products will be allowed that have been tested on animals.
 
You are responsible for providing your own tent, table, chairs, etc. If you need power, please include the information in your application and we will be in touch with how we may or may not be able to accommodate. There is no WIFI at Cowles Commons.

LICENSING REQUIRED:
Temperature Controlled Prepared Food Sellers: Please obtain a temporary event food license or a farmers market license with the Dept of Inspections and Appeals.

Food Trucks: Must be licensed with the city and state, and place plastic under their truck when parked on Cowles Commons.
