RULES AND POLICY
(Checking all rules are mandatory for registration)

Discipline will be maintained at all times so that everyone has a great experience. Theatre requires everyone’s full focus and we handle on going problem areas as follows: A) Verbal Warning B) Letter to Parents C) Dismissal

Theatre classes will be held at the Vishav Punjabi Bhawan, 118 Kennedy Road, Brampton– March 18th and March 21st 2024 between 5:30PM to 7:30PM. Your child will have one performance on the final day March 24th 2024 and would be required to be at the Vishav Punjabi Bhawan between 1:00PM to 5:00PM. There will be no tickets for this and parents and families can attend this show.

Parents must remain present with their children for the duration of the workshop. Parents may wait in the waiting area if they like.

Young actors will remain in the building at all times unless accompanied by an instructor or their guardian.

Wear comfortable clothing and shoes are recommended.

No gum chewing will be allowed in class.

Everyone is expected to show respect for the staff, each other, and the theatre and its surroundings • Clean up after yourselves and throw trash in trashcans • Listen and speak politely. • Treat others the way you like to be treated

Basic costume articles will be provided; however, the actors may be asked to provide some costume pieces, such as pants or shirts. Actors will provide their own socks and shoes, tights and leotards as requested by the director.

The use of cell phones, electronic gaming and/or music devices is prohibited during the Children’s Theatre Workshop. If your child needs to get in contact with a parent/guardian, they are allowed to use The Melodrama’s phone. Please leave all phones, gaming devices and music players at home or with parents/guardians.

Images or video taken of your child during class times and rehearsal may or may not be used as promotional material for PAA.
