At the Music Technology Group we are carrying on a participatory process as part of the project Challenges and Opportunities in Music Tech to identify the impact of emerging technologies (artificial intelligence, blockchain, 5G, metaverse…) in music. Your opinion is very valuable to understand how these technologies can address current needs and difficulties, open new possibilities within the music sector and what is their societal impact.

Please answer the following questions referring to the challenges and opportunities of using new technologies in sound and music archives. We are particularly interested in challenges related to managing large amounts of music content (audio, text, images, ...), processing it to automatically describe it, and making it available to experts and general public.
